In an extraordinary exposition, Lorenzen--an expert beekeeper and student of contemporary spiritual science - describes the Logos mysteries, based at the ancient temple of Artemis in Ephesus, where priestesses were known as "Melissas" (honeybees), while the sacrificial priests were called "Essenes" (bee kings).
